Theatre Palisades’ production of Ray Cooney’s “Run For Your Wife” opened at Pierson Playhouse on Friday, March 31.
“A London cab driver, John Smith, is leading two lives, complete with two different wives: Mary and Barbara,” according to a synopsis from Theatre Palisades. “He manages to juggle them both without arousing suspicion, until he gets mugged and wakes up in the hospital with the wrong wife by his side. He is forced to explain things to his two wives and hilarity ensues.”
Christopher Aruffo takes on the role of John, with Jill Tenney as Mary and Wendy Taubin as Barbara. The cast is rounded out by Justin Drew as Stanley Gardner, Randy Oppenheimer as Sgt. Troughton, Adriana Bodner as a newspaper reporter, Richard Conolly as Sgt. Porterhouse and Michael Anthony Nozzi as Bobby.
The show is directed by Sherman Wayne, and produced by Martha Hunter and Laura Goldstein.
“Run For Your Wife” will run through May 7, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., as well as Sundays at 2 p.m. at Pierson Playhouse, located at 941 Temescal Canyon Road.
A review of the show will appear in the April 13 print edition of theĀ Palisadian-Post.
