Looking for a way to celebrate Earth Day this weekend? Resilient Palisades will host an event on April 23 at Palisades Village Green from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“Come join us for a day of fun, education, goodie bags and delicious food,” Resilient Palisades shared. “Let’s celebrate our planet and take action towards a more sustainable future, together.”
Representatives from each Resilient Palisades team—including Clean Energy, Zero Waste, Composting, Clean Air and Water, Plant-Based Solutions, Green Banking, Water Sages, and Bike Team—will be present for demonstrations and giveaways.
“Our event will also give you a chance to meet all of our teams who are committed to creating a more sustainable and eco-friendly future,” according to a post shared across social media by Resilient Palisades. “You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about each of our teams and the important work they are doing in our community to make a difference.”
The event will also feature “a variety of mouth-watering and plant-based dishes,” available from vendors, including Xonxitas and Original Herbivore.
Attendees will have a chance to learn more about Ridwell, which is a service designed to keep “recycling out of landfills” by allowing Palisadians to recycle hard-to-recycle items.
Resilient Palisades, a Pacific Palisades-based environmental nonprofit, “is a neighbor-led community group committed to working together to mount a local response to the climate and ecological crisis.”
Palisades Village Green is located in the heart of the Village at 15280 Antioch Street.
