The Pacific Palisades Republican Club, perhaps heartened by recent polls showing a narrowing poll gap between their presidential candidate Donald Trump and the Democractic candidate Hillary Clinton, have been selling “many, many” badges and other Trumpesque paraphernalia at their Sunday morning farmers market stand.

They are holding a debate party at Earth Wind and Flour restaurant, 2222 Wilshire Blvd., Santa Monica from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday Oct. 9 when the two candidates hold their second debate. “It will be fun … join us,” urged GOP spokesman Rocky Bowman.
