Animal Planet’s “The Last Alaskans” Season 2 was released on Tuesday, April 12 on animalplanet.com. The documentary series follows the daily lives of four families living (willfully) off of the land and away from civilization in the few remaining cabins in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Palisadian Thomas Nelson, a producer on the show, travels back and forth from Pacific Palisades to Alaska for months at a time.
