Ever wonder what the secret life and culture are of a great tour band’s road crews? Palisadians writer Cameron Crowe and producer J.J. Abrams bring to life the “Roadies,” a Showtime series, which premiered June 26, featuring the rockstar-esque existence of the equipment crews on the road with big musical performers. The Palisades’ own Greg Willis fulfills a type of roadie role for the show’s production, driving a massive truck full of the show’s electrical equipment.
