Palisadian Martin Short is hitting the small screen again in a variety show he will co-host with fellow “Saturday Night Live” alum Maya Rudolph. NBC’s “Maya & Marty” will be broadcast live from Studio 6A at 30 Rockefeller Plaza—the same stage used for “SNL” tapings—and similarly feature comedy sketches, musical numbers and celebrity guests, anchored by the two veteran sketch performers as well as current “SNL” cast member Keenan Thompson. The series will also be produced by “SNL” impresario Lorne Michaels.
“Maya & Marty” premieres on Tuesday, May 31 at 10 p.m., following the season premiere of “America’s Got Talent.”
