Not quite a pop-up, not quite a permanent store: Rachel Zoe will begin a residency at Caruso’s Palisades Village when the development opens on Sept. 22. The brick-and-mortar shop will remain in operation through spring 2019.
Zoe, a stylist-turned-designer, will feature items from her clothing collection, as well as vintage pieces that she has sourced and key pieces from her personal archive, Caruso confirmed.
The location will focus on Zoe’s “ready-to-wear and footwear collections,” and will also sell her seasonal style subscription: Box of Style by Rachel Zoe.
Zoe, who brings over two decades of experience as a stylist and designer, will curate various partners for in-store events that focus on style, beauty and lifestyle.
Her Palisades Village residency space, which Zoe tweeted was “a total dream come true,” will be about 1,300 square feet and will be located at 1030 Swarthmore Ave.
This is not the first time that Zoe has worked with Caruso: Her first project, which was defined as a “pop-up,” opened at the Grove in 2016.
“I have a huge client base and many friends on the Westside, and they’re all excited about the Caruso center, so this just felt right,” Zoe said in a statement. “Rick Caruso has been such a huge supporter to me and my business and has such a passion for retail, you just want to be a part of whatever he’s doing.”
Zoe’s retail website offers a range of items, including everything from rompers to evening wear and even wedding gowns.
In 2008, her five-season reality television series, “The Rachel Zoe Project,” debuted. The show featured Zoe as a celebrity stylist while she expanded her business—balancing it with her personal life.
Throughout her career as a stylist, Zoe has worked with many celebrities, including Brenda Song, Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton and Keira Knightley. Her current client list includes Palisadian Jennifer Garner.
