The Pacific Palisades Baseball Association’s Mustang 10U and Bronco 12U All-Star teams will enjoy home field advantage for the Pony Section tournament July 13-18 at the Field of Dreams.
Both the 10U and 12U squads have a final tuneup this weekend in the Firecracker tournament at Big League Dreams.
The 10Us, coached by Jim Csiszar, James Min and Tim McCaffrey, finished 3-1 in the Thousand Oaks Classic played June 24-25 to improve their record to 7-4. Should they advance to the Super Region tournament, it will be July 20-25 in San Marcos. Â
The 12Us are off to a blazing 19-2 start this summer under coaches Jim Ford, Dan Johnson and Daniel White, reaching the finals in all five tournaments they have entered, including four titles.The team is batting over .400 and has hit 42 home runs in 21 games.The Bronco Super Region playoffs are July 20-25 in Whittier.
