Former flame of Sumner Redstone and self-proclaimed philanthropist and entrepreneur Sydney Holland is asking $11.5 million for her renovated home in the Riviera neighborhood of Pacific Palisades, according to a report by Variety.
The lavish, transitional-traditional home has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The property sits on .34 acres of land with an interior space of 6,670 square feet surrounded by tall, manicured hedges and a stone wall, offering a level of privacy and exclusivity.
The two-story home boasts creativity and a contemporary style with dramatic crown molding and unique wallpaper in contrast with its traditional architecture, thanks to Tracie Butler, who decorated the home.
Holland’s personal taste and interests are imminent throughout the estate, as her walls are shown with prints of Marilyn Monroe and Queen Elizabeth II, and her home office is painted a fuchsia pink.
This carries into the master suite of the home: While the bedroom itself is a traditional, tasteful space, its attached (massive) walk-in closet has peacock-themed wallpaper, as well as a marbled vanity and counter-tops.
The master bath has white and black patterned tiles, a large, walk-in shower and an elegant soaking tub right next to a window. The estate has bountiful windows, allowing ample natural sunlight into the home.
The additional bedrooms upstairs seem to have been for Holland’s children, one painted a soft-pink and the other a dark gray.
Moving back downstairs, the walls of the home offer convenient storage with built-in shelving. And the sharp contrast theme continues as one flows into the formal dining room, which is painted a sultry, dark gray—as opposed to the white walls of the living rooms.
The gourmet kitchen is large and equipped with chef-grade appliances. It also offers two regular ovens, a proofing oven and a professional gas range. Beautiful marble adorns the counter-tops and back-splash while two golden lights hang above from the ceiling.
The outdoor design is ideal for entertaining guests, complete with a rectangular swimming pool and spa, a large grassy area, wood-burning grill and pizza oven.
Just minutes from The Riviera Country Club and polo field, the estate is a coveted piece.
The listing is currently held with real estate couple Branden and Rayni Williams of Hilton & Hyland.
Holland recently listed a West Hollywood investment property as well, which sold for $2.8 million this past February.
