Coached by Leonard Griffin, Pacific Coast Soccer Club’s U13 B01 White team made it through six pool play games (including three last weekend in Apple Valley) in the top flight of the annual Cal State Cup to reach the knockout rounds this weekend in Oceanside.
If White survives it will advance to the semifinals Feb. 28. The final is March 1.
The squad is led by Palisadians Campbell Collar, Ben Clark, Zach Hausner, Josh Barad, George Gray, Jake Lyon and Liam Conrad, who all played on the AYSO Extra team that made the State Cup finals last year.
Rounding out the roster are Verit Kooanupong, Diego Lopez-Zubiri, Jordan Stearns, Mason Lee, Dylan Wolff, Taylor Strijdveen and Nathan Thorson.
