Collage artist Patricia Purwin will conduct an art workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 10 at the Village Green, on Sunset between Swarthmore and Antioch. She will give instructions on how to create a 14 inch x 22 inch background and cut out all the collage images. All supplies are included, and no experience is necessary. Purwin has taught locally, and her children’s collage book, ‘Grandpa’s a Scientist,’ is included in the Library of the American Academy of Arts and Science. She lives in Santa Monica with her husband, Charles, and works at the Lake Shrine. Space is limited. To make advance reservations, call (310) 459-5167. Children (6 and over) are invited.
