Four Pacific Palisades baseball players helped their new Top Level Elite 14U Gold team win the USAAA Frozen Fury Tournament championship last weekend in Baldwin Park.
Led by Palisadians Brandon Bendel, Jimmy Levy, Jett Teegarden and Evan Alexander, the TLE club squad took first place in its age division by defeating the Downey Dirt Devils (5-2), the BSBL Bengals (10-5), GT Tribe (4-1) and finally Oaks Elite by a score of 9-6.
Bendel and Levy were previously teammates on the Pacific Paliades Baseball Association’s Bronco 11U All-Star team that finished 12-7-2 in Pony sanctioned tournaments in 2019.
Rounding out Top Level Elite’s talented roster were Teddy Levin, Luca Marucci, Jaxson Ehlers, Malakye Matsumoto, Tyler Baker, Aaron Heirigs and Leo LeBlanc.
