At least a dozen Pacific Palisades teens have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). The organization’s mission is to recognize and honor the academically talented students of the U.S. through nationwide academic scholarship programs.
Students enter the scholarship competition by taking the PSAT/NMSQT and filling out a designated section on the exam answer sheet. Scores are sent to NMSC, which awards students in four categories: commended students, semifinalists, finalists and winners.
Congratulations to these Palisades teens on their excellence in academics.
If you or someone you know has been recognized by the NMSC this school year, contact the reporter at Jacqueline@palipost.com.
