Palisadian Jacqueline Malaret, 16, competed for Windward School in the 2015 Orators Cup last month and took fourth place in the Open Impromptu competition.
Malaret, a junior, is the co-captain of Windward’s debate team, in addition to being very active in student government, French classes and other clubs.
Founded in the 2014, the Orator’s Cup provides a space for students to demonstrate their speech talent. The event is open to students in third through 12th grade.
