
The Palisades High boys lacrosse team won the 2011 Summer Watts Games on Saturday, June 11. Starting at 8 a.m. at Los Angeles Southwest College, they played five games in a single day’and won all five. The lacrosse portion of these games was organized by PaliHi’s head coach Scott Hylen; the Dolphins were coached in the tournament by J.D. Whalen and Gus Campos. Pali defeated Culver City 5-4 in the final to win it all, buoyed by three goals from Daniel Gurvis and one each from Ryan Angelich and Nick Jaffe.
