Palisades Charter High School is seeking nominations for its Board of Trustees.
Six seats are open, with all terms lasting two years except the student-elected faculty seat, which is one year. The remaining open seats are faculty, two community seats, one parent seat and one classified seat.
The parent seat is voted on solely by parents. Nominees must be parents of a PaliHi student for their entire term, meaning they must currently have a ninth-, tenth- or eleventh-grader enrolled at the school. One community seat is voted on by school personnel, while the other seat is voted on by parents, school personnel and students.
Nomination forms must be submitted by May 2 at 3:30 p.m., along with a candidate statement (100 words or less) and a candidate ballot statement (25 words or less). E-mail forms and statements to Michelle Brantley at mbrantley@palihigh.org.
