Palisades High senior tennis twins Ireland and Sophia Amato have dreamed of playing college tennis together. Last weekend they committed to Saint Joseph’s University, an NCAA Division I program in Philadelphia.
The Amatos play No. 1 and 2 singles fot the Dolphins. They led Palisades to the City Open Division title last fall. As sophomores they paced their hometown Easton (PA) team to the state semifinals.
