It took 10 minutes for Palisades High’s JV football team to shift into high gear Friday afternoon against University, but once it did there was no slowing down the Dolphins, who moved within one win of their second consecutive outright Western League title with a 28-0 victory at Stadium by the Sea. It was the fourth shutout in eight games for Palisades, which has outscored its four league foes 130-20 and won for the 19th time in its last 20 games dating back to 2016. The game was stopped midway through the third quarter after the Wildcats, who brought only 18 players, suffered several injuries.

Julien Jantzen recovered a fumble but the Dolphins turned it over two plays later. Pierre Harbingot a sack on fourth down, thenSenofsky found David Leitz over the middle for a 14-0 lead.
On Palisades’ next drive, Senofsky threw to Eli Ghodooshim, who broke three tackles on a 21-yard score before halftime. King returned a punt inside the 10-yard line early in the third quarter and Jaxon Bell swept left on the next play to close out the scoring.
