The Palisades High boys water polo team has been on a mission since the season started and the Dolphins can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
The regular season concluded Wednesday against Venice (result undetermined at press time) but with another Western League title in hand, Palisades heads into the City Section tournament as the hunted, having won four straight titles.
The Dolphins squeezed one final nonleague game last Tuesday, taking care of host Brentwood, 15-8. Gabby Feizbakhsh led the way with eight goals, Isai Elias added two goals, Oliver Grant had one goal and three steals and Lucas Silva, Zeke Ramirez, Zach Wunder and Marc Pryor each scored once. Goalies Brandon Epp and Michail Melnik each made two saves.

Palisades defeated Birmingham 13-10 in the finals to win its first section title in 2013; beat El Camino Real 11-6 to repeat in 2014; beat Birmingham 11-9 to make it three in a row and routed the Patriots 19-3 for its fourth consecutive crown last season.
Playoff brackets will be released Monday afternoon. Palisades will likely host a first-round match at 3 p.m. next Friday, Nov. 4, at Maggie Gilbert Aquatic Center.
