Pacific Palisades just got a little sweeter—the locally operated cottage bakery Hello Honey is now offering free deliveries within five miles of 90272.
Operated by cake creationist CC Mauch, Hello Honey whips out gorgeous cakes, cookies and custom treats suitable for any special occasion. With taste in the forefront, Mauch bakes only with quality, organic ingredients, yet, unlike other bakeries with chichi claims—these cakes are almost as beautiful as they taste.

With elegant offerings such as semi-naked wedding cake capped with fresh, local flowers, and strawberry-buttercream drip cake, Hello Honey finds the perfect balance between taste and appearance.

“Taste is the most important thing,” Mauch told the Palisadian-Post. “I love to incorporate fresh fruit into my cupcakes as well as in different buttercream frostings. Once I have the taste down, then I focus presentation.”
The mother of two, who trained as a pastry chef at San Francisco’s renowned Tante Marie’s Cooking School in the early 2000s, had been working in the technology sector—most recently for industry giant Google—for nearly a decade when she decided to look back to the past.
“My husband and I had our children, and I was working long hours for Google,” Mauch explained. “I found myself missing out on so much. And for what? I wasn’t fulfilled.”
It was in 2015 that Mauch decided to leave her high position with Google in order to pursue her passion—baking delicious desserts just like her grandmother, Honey.
And just like that, Hello Honey was born.
The Mauch family soon went on to leave their San Francisco Bay Area home to relocate to Pacific Palisades. Mauch, who grew up in neighboring Topanga, revealed that she and her family chose the Palisades for its resident-driven community core and “small-town feel.”

“Food serves as a great entrance into a new community,” Mauch said. “Right now our main clientele consists of local parents who have spread the word to others in the community.”
Mauch went on to show the Post her new set of wheels—a vintage delivery truck repainted with the Hello Honey’s company logo. Still in its first phases of refurbishment, Mauch plans to use the truck to set up shop for all sort of events—particularity weddings and children’s tea parties.
“The truck has a sort of charm behind it,” Mauch added. “It resurfaces memories of a simpler era.”
Charm—a flavor served warmly by CC Mauch.
