Chipotle, which serves build-your-own Tex-Mex meals, including burritos, tacos and salads, replaced a Panda Express on Sunset in the Village.
Last year the company was stricken by a series of food-borne illnesses. But after changing some ways it handles its fare, including blanching ingredients to destroy harmful microbes, stock values have levelled out.
People who work and live in the Palisades will be able to take advantage of a lunch or dinner priced at less than $10.
