
Las Madrinas announced 38 young women—including 12 Palisadians—and their families who will be honored as debutantes for their service to the Southern California community and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. This year’s ball will be postponed due to the pandemic. Former AYSO Pali All Stars soccer player Shannon Hart was a contestant on “Wheel of Fortune” on Wednesday, October 7. She applied to be a contestant with a video submission and participated in a virtual audition two days later. “It was all so fast,” she said in a statement. “It was definitely the most fun I’ve had in an interview.”

Palisades Charter High School senior Zach Ritts shared a photo shot in the Palisades when fires burning throughout Los Angeles County and beyond brought smoke to the area in mid-September.
