Friends and neighbors on Marquez Avenue celebrated 30 years of Knolls Pharmacy with Shirley and Gordon, a Paul Revere and Pali High graduate, Wong on Saturday, October 12.
Dr. Susan Love, a Palisadian and chief visionary officer of the Dr. Susan Love Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Army of Women, a program comprised of more than 390,000 members, researchers, advocates and a scientific advisory committee working together to drive progress in breast cancer clinical research. Dr. Laura Esserman and Hollye Jacobs were honored at the celebration.
The Palisades High School Class of 1964 hosted its 55-year reunion with a theme of “Remember When” aboard the RegentSea yacht in Marina del Rey. The event, attended by 80 classmates and their guests, was planned by Konni Pederson, Corky Phillips and Stewart Slavin.
HomeAid Los Angeles, headed by Palisadian Erik Pfahler, hosted its fourth annual fundraising gala, An Evening Under the Stars, at The CenterPoint Club in Playa Vista. Proceeds will benefit HomeAid projects, including providing “a unique service for homelessness service providers in LA.”
