Newcomers and Friends of Pacific Palisades enjoyed a tour of the Beverly Hills Hotel. Highlights from the tour include seeing the Frank Sinatra bungalow, stopping at the Marilyn Monroe room and visiting a tree outside the Howard Hughes bungalow, where staff used to drop off meals for him. Following the tour, the group dined in the Polo Lounge.

The U.S. Women’s Water Polo Coach Adam Krikorian, as well as players Maddie Mussleman and Rachel Fattal, visited Village School to share their story of winning Olympic Gold in Rio during an assembly.
Longtime Palisadian Vassie Naidoo recently received his certificate for high eighth-degree black belt. Seiichi Fujiwara Hanshi, president of Seiwa Kai Goju Ryu Karatedo, came in from Japan to present the certificate to Naidoo.
