
Palisades-founded and operated This Girl Walks Into a Bar hosted an event to celebrate its mixer launch and partnership with Erewhon. “We’re beyond grateful for so many years of encouragement and support and it absolutely, 100% got us to where we are today,” Jordan Catapano and Jocelyn Dunn said in an email. “Our community is the best.”

Marymount High School hosted a Centennial Celebration at its campus on September 23. The event was officiated by Most Reverend José H. Gomez, Archbishop of Los Angeles. “Founded in 1923 by the visionary Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary, Marymount has steadfastly maintained its mission to equip young women to lead and initiate positive change in the world,” according to a press release. The event included mass, historical exhibits and a catered reception with buffets and bars stationed throughout the camps.
