Former Palisadian Mary Salmassy—a manager at Ralphs—shared her family’s collection of Grinches ahead of the holiday season.

The California Young Artists Symphony, founded by former Palisadians Rebecca and Alexander Tseitlin, expanded its 2022-23 season to include UCLA’s Royce Hall, with a concert that took place on October 30, 2022. The program included works by Beethoven, de Falla and Scriabin.
The symphony was founded in fall 2021, featuring musicians from institutions such as the Colburn Conservatory, Thornton School of Music at USC and Herb Alpert School at UCLA. The symphony is slated to perform at the Kavli Theater in Thousand Oaks on February 5.
