Angelini Ristorante & Bar, located on Swarthmore Ave, officially opened its Palisades Village doors on Friday, February 11.
Chef and owner of Angelini Osteria on Beverly Boulevard Gino Angelini recently teamed up with local restaurateur Tancredi DeLuca of Amici Brentwood to launch the new project.
“The Palisades is an area that we have been looking at for some time,” Angelini said to the Palisadian-Post. “The chance to bring our authentic Italian cuisine to the westside of Los Angeles in the idyllic Palisades Village is very appealing to us.”

Children are playing T-Ball at Simon Meadow on Saturdays for the community. Palisadian Maryam Zar said 60 kids have already signed up and enjoy “happily playing.”

Junior member of the Riviera Country Club Siddharth Ganapathy has been spearheading a charity initiative with the Southern California Professional Golfers’ Association, “ClubsForeYouth.”
Ganapathy said this initiative aims to provide golf clubs to underprivileged high school students across Southern California.
“Thus far, we have helped over 700 golf athletes across 105 high schools in Southern California and I am aiming to significantly increase this number through a donation drive in the month of February,” he said to the Palisadian-Post. “My hope is that [local] residents who have gently used golf clubs laying around their homes can support this initiative and benefit the lives of many more deserving high-school golf athletes.”
Ganapathy said he has arranged collection bins at his school, located at 1714 21st Street in Santa Monica.
