Caruso Donates ‘Challenge Wall’ | The Village
As part of a commitment to Earth Day, Caruso is donating a “Challenge Wall” to be part of Palisades Charter High School’s Community Day. Students will write on the wall, sharing their individual plans for eco-friendly change.
Additionally, on Earth Day, Sunday, April 22, Caruso will host a family-friendly pop-up at the Pacific Palisades Farmers Market at Pali High, featuring children’s crafts and distributing California native seed packets to visitors.
Caruso revealed that Palisades Village, now due to open in 156 days on Sept. 22, has recycled 95 percent of its demolition waste. It will install solar panels on top of the Cinépolis theater, recapture most run-off water, and offer bicycle parking and electric vehicle charging.
Palisades Village will be the first ground-up business district in the state of California to earn a LEED Gold rating for its environmentally friendly elements.
