First Fall Festival | Palisades Village
Caruso’s Palisades Village will celebrate its first fall in the Palisades with an inaugural Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 12 to 4 p.m. The festivities, which include pumpkin decorating, Halloween crafts, treats and more, will take place in The Park. Costumes are welcome.

Apartment Fire | El Medio Bluffs
Los Angeles Fire Department Station 69 was called to the scene of a two-story apartment fire at 15757 Sunset Blvd. at approximately 4 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 22.
According to LAFD spokesperson Amy Bastman, 28 firefighters took 30 minutes to extinguish the fire, which originated in the attic.
“The coordinated fire attack and ventilation kept the fire from spreading and the flames were extinguished with no reported injuries,” Bastman said.

Candy Buy Back | The Village
Children are encouraged to bring their unopened Halloween candy to the Pacific Palisades Pediatric Dentistry office, located at 881 Alma Real Drive in Suite 315, throughout the first week of November. Helicopter Hoist Rescue | Temescal Canyon
On the morning of Thursday, Oct. 18, an adult female suffered an ankle injury while hiking in the 900 block of Temescal Canyon Road in Pacific Palisades. Los Angeles Fire Department Station 69 responded to the call, and the patient was hoisted to a local hospital in stable condition.
