Palisades Podcast | Pacific Palisades

Palisades Podcast, hosted by longtime community members Maryam Zar and Steve Cron, spoke with Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin for its February guest.
“She is our new state assemblymember and she is one of the most interesting people we’ve met,” Zar shared. “She is of Dutch origin, she studied engineering and was a systems engineer, testing missile systems for years before life as a mom and a citizen took her into politics: first at the City Council level in Thousand Oaks and eventually to the State Assembly.
“There, she has been instrumental in cybersecurity, education development for underserved communities, and, of course, a champion for public and fire safety as well as stewardship of California natural resources, like the vast coastline that sits within her district … She is a pleasure to meet—tune in.”
The episode is available at palipost.com/palipodcast.
