Hiker Rescue | Will Rogers State Historic Park
Los Angeles Fire Department air and ground units responded to a hiker rescue at 1501 N Will Rogers State Park Road on Wednesday, August 3, reported at 6:54 p.m., according to spokesperson Nicholas Prange.
“After an extensive search for a lost hiker, LAFD ground and air units located the stranded hiker,” Prange reported.
Due to the terrain, both the patient and the firefighters needed to be hoisted out of the location. The hiker, an approximately 60-year-old male, reported no injuries, and firefighter-paramedics performed a medical assessment after the rescue was complete.
