Nancy Anne Cleeves, a former longtime resident of Pacific Palisades, died on November 29 in Boulder, Colorado. She was 89. Nancy and her husband Vincent Cleeves were members of Corpus Christi Church and resided in the Palisades for 63 years. Born in Glen Cove, Long Island, on May 8, 1923, Nancy met Vincent while working in New York. The two married and moved to California. Family was of most importance to Nancy, who also enjoyed sailing, swimming and hiking. Her seven grandchildren were a highlight in her life. Nancy was predeceased by her husband in 2004. The past four years, she resided in Boulder, close to her daughter Virginia and son Vince Jr. Nancy’s other two sons, Monty of Redwood City and Chuck of San Diego, still reside in California. A mass and celebration of Nancy’s life will be held’on Saturday, January 19 at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church. She will be buried at Holy Cross Cemetery.
