Pacific Palisades resident Nancy Cafferio, an agent with Sotheby’s International Real Estate, passed away on March 7 in St. John’s Hospital. She was 71 and had been suffering for some time with a heart condition. Born on November 1, 1940 in Maple Shade, New Jersey, Nancy arrived in Los Angeles in the early 1960s to pursue a career in the fashion industry. For the past 35 years, she was a top-producing real estate agent and was known by many throughout the Pacific Palisades community. She truly loved her clients and formed many wonderful, lasting relationships. Nancy’s wit, spunk and zest for life brought great joy and her caring smile warmed the heats of all who knew her. Survivors include nephews Tony Cafferio of Arizona and Eric Cafferio of Maui. Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 16 at 3 p.m. at Corpus Christi Church, the corner of Sunset and Carey. Contributions may be made in Nancy’s name to the charity of one’s choice.
