The Pacific Palisades Baseball Association’s Mustang Blue All-Stars are hosting the PONY District 2 tournament July 5-6 at the Palisades Recreation Center’s Field of Dreams complex. The double-elimination tournament features All-Star squads from East Long Beach, South Bay, Lynwood, Paramount, Los Alamitos, Pico Rivera and Redondo.
Palisades’ first game is against Redondo at noon Saturday, July 5. The final will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 6. The top four teams advance to Sectionals beginning July 11 in Santa Monica.

The PPBA’s Bronco 11 All-Stars travel to Torrance for the District playoffs and open against East Long Beach Saturday. The Bronco 12s will be at Pico Rivera next Thursday (July 3). The PPBA Pinto All-Stars play East Long Beach on Saturday in their first game of the District South Bay Tournament.
