Chef Alain Giraud will not only serve a special brunch from 10 to 2:30 in addition to the regular brunch and excellent breakfast pastries, but even better, if you want a special take-out of quiche Lorraine or quiche provençal to enjoy at home, you may order either for $25 (each serves six). The special brunch menu includes a rosé sangria ($7); sweet peas cold soup with crispy Parmesan ($10); roasted local halibut, spring vegetables and herb sauce ($18); and a nougat glacé with pistachios and raspberry coulis ($9).

Brunch hours at Sam’s by the Beach will be 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., where the menu will be filled with interesting dishes, from omelets (herb, $16.95; Pacific Blue crab, $25.95) and French toast with blueberries ($18.95) to a smoked wild salmon plate ($24.95) and classic tuna Niçoise salad ($25.95). There will also be a variety of sandwiches, including a grilled vegetable sandwich ($17.95), and much more. A kid’s menu will be available upon request. Sam’s offers full bar service.

The Sunday brunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a bottomless mimosa and Bloody Mary bar along with culinary creations by Chef Nyesha Arrington. The brunch is priced at $35 per adult, and $25 for children under 12. The all-you-can-eat buffet includes smoked salmon, crab benedict, brioche French toast with fresh berries, an antipasto platter, seasonal market fruits, field greens with beets, hazelnuts, feta and more. The dessert buffet will feature a selection of Wilshire’s favorite brunch desserts such as mini cupcakes, coconut macaroons and oversized cookies.

The Mother’s Day celebration at this Italian restaurant featuring the foods of Lake Como and Bellagio in Northern Italy will go on all week, beginning Friday, May 10. The menu is based on Chef Gianfranco’s favorite childhood dishes. The three-course menu priced at $45 per person gives a choice of black cod or veal, while the four-course menu is $59. An additional wine-tasting program is $18 per person.

On this Mother’s Day, Loews Hotels will give each mother a personal card that her child can color during brunch. Each card will include a special $20 gift card from donorschoose.org to help fund local educational projects that support public schools in need. Brunch at the Loews in Santa Monica will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be fresh-from-the-bakery muffins, croissants, bagels and scones along with a custom waffle station, and more. There will also be classic California dishes, such as fresh fish and shrimp tacos, as well as a sushi and raw bar. The price is $75 for adults, and $37 for kids 12 and under.

The Mother’s Day menu will be served from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at this ocean-view restaurant in Santa Monica. The three-course menu ($75) offers entrée selections of Dungeness crab Florentine, seared salmon, grilled filet of beef, jidori chicken breast, or ruby shrimp cavatelli.

The celebratory spring brunch will be offered on May 11 and 12 for LMU graduates and mothers. Executive Chef Daniel Roberts’ three-course menu is priced at $45, inclusive of bottomless mimosas, sparkling wine or sparkling cider. Brunch selections include Dungeness crab cakes, tuna tartare, egg and bacon sandwich, linguine with clams, prime flat-iron steak and short-rib hash. Brunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tax and gratuity are not included.

A special three-course menu planned by new Executive Chef David Codney will be served from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Belvedere. This menu will be accompanied by free-flowing Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne. The Belvedere is the only AAA Five-Diamond restaurant in Los Angeles. Main-course choices will be mushroom and spring onion crepes, a mousseline-stuffed filet of sole, or roasted beef tenderloin. The price is $125 per adult, and $45 per child under 12.

Al fresco dining with buffet and live jazz music will give any mother the star treatment. The buffet will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a price of $64 for adults and $32 for children 12 and under. There will also be a Build A Bear station for kiddies for $10. The buffet includes an omelet station, carving station, antipasto display, various entrées, a Viennese table of artisan breads and desserts along with complimentary refreshments.
