A proud tradition continued Friday afternoon at Stadium by the Sea, where Palisades High football players gathered in the bleachers to share pregame meals consisting of freshly-cooked spaghetti, salad and sourdough bread, delivered from Gladstone’s Restaurant.

For three and a half decades the fish eatery on the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Sunset has served meals to the team on game days and on this occasion the carbohydrates served the Dolphins well as they went on to beat Cleveland.
The program’s Life Experience Coach Joe Spector started the tradition in 1987 when his son Todd was a senior left tackle for the Dolphins under former coach Jack Epstein.
