Palisadian Cari Klein has built the Marymount High volleyball progam into a powerhouse and the Sailors are enjoying one of their best seasons ever this fall. Led by senior libero Lauren Douglas, the Sailors won the Redondo Power Classic, sweeping host Redondo Union, 25-20, 26-24, in the finals. Marymount’s JV roster consists of locals Caroline Douglas, Adelaide Edwards, Sophia Globe, Emma Klein and Mary McGeagh and the frosh/soph team includes Cara Burchell, Andrea Campos, Isabella Dameris, Kendall Fisher and Ava O’Connor.
