Last Wednesday, Sept. 21—World Gratitude Day—a group of Palisadian senior residents from Atria Park in went out into the community to perform acts of gratitude.
Their day began at Los Angeles Fire Department Station 69, where the group brought lunch, thank you notes and bracelets from the Go Grateful campaign to the firefighters.

“The love and appreciation they expressed touched our hearts,” Engage Life Coordinator of Atria Park Sahily Gonzalez shared. “We have no words to describe the experience.”
The firefighters gave a tour of the station and answered questions from the group.
Next, the group went to Ralphs, Casa Nostra and Gladstones to express gratitude.
The effort was part of the Go Grateful campaign, which gives residents at Atria Senior Living communities across the United States and Canada a chance to show their gratitude through trips like this.
