On Sunday, April 13, the Pacific Palisades Democratic Club hosted a lively forum featuring four Democrats in the race for Rep. Henry Waxman’s seat in Congress.
Making presentations were State Senator Ted Lieu, former Los Angeles city controller and councilwoman Wendy Greuel and two first-time candidates – radio talk show host, author and Palisadian Matt Miller and attorney David Kanuth.
Lieu walked away from the well-attended event with the club’s endorsement.
On his website, State Senator Lieu said, “I am proud to have the endorsement of the Pacific Palisades Democratic Club. Sunday’s forum was a great opportunity to discuss the issues facing CD 33 with my opponents. I think this endorsement shows that my strong legislative record and long term commitment to public service in this region will serve me better than any other candidate in this race.”
