Senior Letter

The following letter was sent to the Palisades Charter High School senior class email list and has been reprinted here with permission.

My name is Peyman Nazarian and I am the 2021-22 Senior Class Teacher Advisor. I will be working with the ASB Leadership team and the Senior Class Caucus to collaborate and advise on senior events and activities. My goal is to provide the best year and send-off for the senior class.

The Senior Advisor position has always focused on providing the senior class with the best possible experience (the Fall Festival, Senior Tie Dye, the Senior Picnic, Prom, Graduation, etc.). No matter what the challenges have been, the senior advisors have strived to make sure all our senior class students have a memorable experience during their last year of high school.

None of this would be possible without the generous support from our community members and parents. We have been extremely fortunate to have had amazing parents and past donors come to the call to provide the funds we need for all we do.

This past year has indeed been challenging and unprecedented. Students have learned remotely and utilized Zoom as the main mode of learning. The current senior class has spent close to half of their high school experience distance learning. They are back on campus and it continues to be different from normal. The school year continues to be challenging for all.

Nonetheless, the senior class is excited to be back in the classroom. They are thrilled to be among their peers and they are invigorated about partaking in various senior activities, such as Prom and Graduation.

Let’s celebrate our students and this special year they are undertaking. We would love to continue to offer our Senior Class these fun and memorable experiences, and would greatly appreciate if you could contribute to this cause.
