At their annual meeting in February, Diane Hawley, president of Las Madrinas in 2013, presented Dr. Theodora A. Stavroudis, director of the Las Madrinas Pediatric Simulation Research Laboratory Endowment, with a major contribution toward its pledge of $5 million for the Las Madrinas Pediatric Simulation Research Laboratory Endowment at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Palisadian Ann Sebastian, vice president, was named to the Board of Directors for 2014 and Jessica Bowlin was welcomed as a new member. Las Madrinas has been supporting pediatric medicine for 80 years.
