
Twelve-year-old black belt Grace Ryan from Gerry Blanck’s Martial Arts Center took first place in her age division in Traditional Forms and second in Traditional Weapons and 54-year-old black belt Tamar Springer was first in her division in musical weapons, traditional forms and traditional weapons and won a Grand Trophy for weapons at last week’s Compete Nationals Karate Tournament in Ontario, Caifornia.
