New Year’s is a time when we create resolutions to follow. However, only 8 percent of people stick to their resolution. I’m guilty of belonging to that other 92 percent. Therefore, my top New Year’s resolution is to actually stick to my resolution!
I can achieve this by developing disciplined habits. I’d like to spend less time on my phone and laptop, so I will put a timer for the amount of time I should spend using my electronics and once the timer goes off, it’s time to turn them off. I would like to spend the extra time I would’ve been on my computer with my family having a great holiday season.
Happy New Year everyone!

My New Year’s resolution is to try my best. I want to try my best at sports, school and being nice to my little sister. What I want to work on in basketball is to work on my shots. I am a great defensive player and I can pass the ball pretty well, but I want to work on making my shots and always being engaged in the game.
In school I want to try my best by studying for tests more, always paying attention in class, trying to finish projects faster and using my time wisely. I also want to schedule my time so I am not rushed to get my homework done when I come home from school. I want to ask my teachers if I am confused with the problem or need help figuring it out.
I also want to try hard to be nice to my little sister. She annoys me sometimes and I want to try to be nicer to her as a big sister. After all, she is my little sister.
I want to improve on these things in the upcoming New Year. I can’t wait for 2016 and I hope you have a great New Year!

For my New Year’s resolution, I want to get better grades. First of all, who doesn’t want to get good grades? Most of all, I want better grades because an all-A student is awesome! Plus, my mom and dad would be very proud of me. Also, doesn’t that amazing feeling that you get after acing a test feel so good inside? Well, at least I know it does. By the way, make sure you make your New Year’s resolution!

My New Year’s resolution is to try everything. As a second-semester senior, my time as a high school student and Pacific Palisades resident is coming to an end. Because of this, I want to make the most of the time I have left. I plan to live each day to the fullest and do as much as I can in order to savor the next few months.
