Will Johnson is moving up in the world of Pac-12 basketball. A 6-foot-1 redshirt junior guard at the University of Oregon, he is eager to make his mark in a program on the rise in the Pacific Northwest. He is a political science major.
As a redshirt sophomore in 2019-20 he was injured during the preseason and did not play. He redshirted his freshman season.
Johnson was named Most Outstanding Player in the Western League and earned first team All-Western League and All-City honors as a senior at Pali High in 2016, culminating in him winning the Post Cup Award as the school’s outstanding senior athlete.
His grandfather is UCLA hall of famer Marques Johnson and his father Kris played on UCLA’s 1995 NCAA national championship basketball team, making Marques and Kris the only father-son combination to win national titles at the same school.
