
A 60-year resident of Pacific Palisades, John Peter Loef, 92, went to the Lord, Feb. 14, 2016. John was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin on March 3, 1923 to Mary Ellen Fisher and Peter John Loef, loving husband of Theresa Bielskis Loef. He passed away peacefully at home.
He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa; and daughter Lisa Marie (Frank Harvey); three sons Peter (Mary Ann), Martin (Vivian) and Michael; three grandsons John Peter Loef II, Andrew Loef, Miles Loef; and granddaughter Lauren Theresa; his brother Paul (Constance) and many nieces and nephews.

John graduated from the University of Wisconsin and served in World War II and the Korean War as a Lieutenant in the Navy. He worked for McDonnell Douglas and Hughes Aircraft as a mechanical engineer.
John and Theresa loved to travel and were fortunate to visit 70 countries and six continents during his 30-year retirement. He loved to putter in his garage, was a big sports fan and he enjoyed his home and family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church.
A life well lived.
