
Jacqueline Burdorf, a pillar in our community, passed away peacefully on June 6. She was 85 years of age.
She was born to Joseph and Cecelia Stein in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Fairfax High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She was an artist and a teacher.
She met her sweetheart, Arthur Burdorf, and they married in 1962. They celebrated 55 years of marriage.
She was a patron of the arts, a champion of the State of Israel and an advocate for numerous charitable pursuits.
Jacqueline found tremendous joy spending time with her family and was absolutely devoted to them. Her love of travel took her all over the world.
She is survived by her daughter Suzanne, her daughter Debra, her son Barry, her son Gary, and her four grandchildren, Rachel, Mitchell, Carly, and Henry.
She will be missed.
