Ingert Birgitta Wasserman, a resident of Pacific Palisades for 42 years, died on October 3. She was 63. Ingie was born on October 2, 1946, to Swedish parents, Karl Helmer Ambrosius Eriksson and Iris Stockhaus in Stockholm, Sweden. She was married to the late Jeffrey Wasserman for 37 years and always enjoyed traveling with him. She was an avid gardener, tennis player and animal lover, and was a helpful member of the community. Ingie’s beautiful smile and her positive, vivacious attitude affected everyone she came in contact with. She was playful and kind and was always one to make people laugh. She dedicated a portion of her life to the Las Doradas children’s charity and was happy to raise money for a good cause. Ingie has now joined spirits with her husband and all her loved ones who have passed before her. She is survived by her two daughters, Annika Wasserman of West Los Angeles, and Lindsay Hoenigschmid (husband Andreas) of Santa Monica, and dear family friend Christa Williams. A memorial service will be held at the Oak Room restaurant, 1035 Swarthmore Ave., at 12 noon on Sunday, October 18.
