
The Los Angeles City Section has announced its All-City girls soccer selections for the 2014-15 season and Palisades High senior forward Hannah De Silva is on the first team.
De Silva, who has signed with Long Beach State, also made the All-City Division I team. She led the Dolphins with 14 goals as Palisades posted a 14-2 overall record and won the Western League.
David London of Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies was named City Coach of the Year, Shelby Vasich of City Division I champion El Camino Real was named Offensive Player of the Year and teammate Alex Best was named Defensive Player of the Year.
Rounding out the All-City first team are Aunika Ortiz (LACES), Elizabeth Blackwell (Verdugo Hills), Itzel Ballestros (Maywood Academy), Jasmine Vasquez (Granada Hills), Jennifer Toledo (Bravo), Leslie Carballo (Bell), Lyric Brigham (Taft), Maia Inniss (Granada Hills), Makala Nichols (Verdugo Hills), Marlyn Angeles (Harbor Teacher Prep), Mayela Medina (Harbor Teacher Prep), Morgan O’Connor (El Camino Real) and Valerie Carrillo (Maywood Academy).
