Actor-comedian Bill Hader, known for his work on “Saturday Night Live” and HBO’s television series “Barry,” recently purchased a new residence in the idyllic Pacific Palisades area for nearly $4.2 million, according to Variety.
The 4300-square-foot home has five bedrooms and six bathrooms. It features high-end materials and premium-grade appliances, customary for finer 2015 new construction homes.
This home boasts a modest architectural statement, the simple exterior tells the story of the interior’s simple lines. The two-story residence has an open bright living room and kitchen area with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass, with warm woods, stone and glass throughout.
The residence sits on an almost 7,000-square-foot lot and includes an efficient yard with a pool, spa and barbecue. It also hosts a two-car garage that allows for two extra parking spaces outside.
The father of three chose the Marquez area. Hader formerly shared a Palisades residence with his ex-wife, Maggie Carey.
Hader’s voice will be heard in two family-style movies this summer, as the voice of Leonard in “The Angry Birds Movie 2” and Axel the Carnie in “Toy Story 4.” Hader, 41, is the co-creator and lead actor in the dark television comedy “Barry,” nominated in several categories in the upcoming 71st annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
The buyer was represented in the deal by Max Nelson at The Agency while the seller was repped by Michael Edlen at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
