The Palisades High girls basketball team got off to a tremendous start at the St. Monica Holiday Classic, winning its first pool play game 76-5 against Bishop Conaty-Loretto.
The Dolphins did not allow a point until the third quarter, racing to a 31-0 halftime lead behind Sammie Arnold, who finished with 22 points, six rebounds and three steals. Jane Nwaba added 20 points and Ivy Scott had 13 rebounds for Palisades (3-2), which continued pool play Tuesday versus Notre Dame Academy and Wednesday against Culver City.
